Business Diary – Week 60 heading for 1000 with The Best New Products in Network Marketing
You hear a lot of negative comments about Network Marketing or MLM (Multi Level Marketing). I think it is one of the main reasons that people decide not to start a business or participate. A a newbie 1 year old in the industry I think I have a good perspective on why that negative attitude exists and why I can put hand on heart and say….it has nothing to do with ‘Network marketing’ per se and is fuelled by a mix of ‘lack of education’ about the industry, combined with an almost myth like fear of ‘horror stories’ about poor comapnies and even poorer, overpriced products.
Network Marketing is nothing more than a distribution business model. So to blanket all companies and products with a common brush is frankly a sign of poor intelligence.
Once you clear that hurdle, you must decide on a personal level as to whether a product and the company behind it, is sound, that the product is competitevly priced with a market that has room for expansion.
If the company is relatively new then you must examine the pedigree of its founders and look at their business record with a similar verve as congress vets its supreme court nominees.
Finally, you need a plan. A plan that will build you a distribution company of your own by working with just a hand full of like minded people of your choosing.
its this last part that makes Network Marketing a fun industry to be in…you get to choose who you wish to work with. Whether it is sharing leads from a job fair of setting up a local meeting together to show the business to people in the area. The collective sense of family that you create amongst your team and the people you introduce to the business is powerful…and fun.
In our inLife business, we started as smokers with the inlife inCig and with this revolutionay product have built a team of nearly a thousand in our first year. Considering we were out of the country for 48 weeks of that time and have spent a great deal of time helping the company launch into the Euro market, we have built at a steady pace.
Now as we move forward, there are a couple of new products on the imminent horizon that I am convinced are about to explode this company into a household name.
So, I am looking forward to Year2 with great anticipation.
But dont let me mislead you. Network Marketing is also about a whole lotta hard work. It’s no get rich quick scheme that you pay some money up front and the cheques start rolling in…but if you like a little or a lot of good fun filled hard graft mixed a little of your own ingenuity, then Network Marketing might be a great way for you to start to earn an extra income.
I suggest you start part-time and see how it goes. Part-time though means committing to a set number of hours a week…not just a bit, ‘now and then’ As your team grows you will start to build a committment to your team that will need you to be available…
